Last week I graduated from Brigham Young University and I felt it would be appropriate to send you my stole of gratitude, a few pictures and a letter thanking you for your generous scholarship. The diversity of the jobs that are available to me now that I have an undergraduate degree is proof enough that my college education was worth it. So many doors have been opened to me and I am not sure what the future has in store for me but I know that my years spent at college have equipped me with the knowledge and experience I need to overcome any obstacle. I am so grateful for your scholarship which made my education possible. As I move forward with selecting a career and gaining more education I hope to be able to one day contribute to someone else’s education just as you have contributed to mine. Thank you so much.
With a heart full of gratitude,
My name is Ena Rosa and I was the 2009 recipient of the Matsui Foundation Scholarship through MPC.
I wanted to update you on how I have been doing since 2009. Yesterday I officially graduated with my Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. I am currently working at my internship as a MFT Intern at a local drugs and alcohol rehabilitation center in Pacific Grove. The assistance I got from the Matsui Foundation really helped me get to where I am today. And I just wanted to show my continues gratitude for choosing me as your recipient for that year. Thank you again, and cheers for the graduates of class of 2013!
Dear Mr. Matsui,
I want to thank you for your continuous support to my education. The Matsui Foundation provides me not only the financial assistance, but emotional and mental assistance that results from having financial security. Your support allowed me to invest time in volunteering and working in non-profit organizations of my interest. Thank you for opening doors for my education, you have opened a new path in my life.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Matsui,
I am writing to you to update you on my college experience and to thank you for making my dreams come true. My college years have been the best years of my life. I just started my third year at San Diego State University in August 27th. Now, I am not only majoring in Child and Family Development but I am also majoring in Behavioral Psychology. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for your help and hard work that you put into your scholarship foundation. Without your consideration and kind souls, I would not be where I am today. Your scholarship funds have helped me pay for classes, books, and some of my living expenses. I will forever be grateful to be one of your lucky recipients.
